JanSParticipantwe’ve decided on meeting time of 4pm, and I can guarantee that 2 hours is simply not enough playtime, so I bet there will be quite a few of us still there. I, for one, am looking forward to meeting both of you :)

ShibaguyzMemberWe feel like WSB has become such a big part of our everyday lives. It would be great to finally get out and actually do some community building in person (something we’ve been working on with different specialty groups here on the WSB).
We’ll break free from our work obligation as soon as possible and run by the Pub. We’re easy to spot… just click on our forum name and check out the pictures on our website.

charlabobParticipantThink of it this way, JenV — that which doesn’t kill us makes us stronger. Or, (s)he whom we don’t kill makes us stronger. I tolerated “meeting” he whose name will not be mentioned by me except when I’m talking about real estate or dunk tanks — and you’re a lot stronger and more resilient than I am.
I’m overcoming my “these kids don’t want to meet geezers like me,” excuse…(no need to talk me out of it — it really is an excuse.) So you better be there. :-)

beachdrivegirlParticipantI hope everyone makes an effort to at least show up here on Saturday! I think that this blog has done a great job of bringing together various backgrounds of individuals and I think Saturday will be a great day for everyone to put faces with names and get to know everyone otuside of a computer screen. You dont have to talk to everyone if you really think that it is goign to make you uncomfortable but I htink it is a real shame if peopel chose to opt out of this opportuntiy to meet the entire WSB forum community.

RSMemberTotally agree, Beachdrivegirl. Personally, the whole kerfuffle in response to the LGBT gathering left me feeling a bit uncomfortable (and totally understanding why people would want to hang out in groups in which they feel safe and not judged, btw!) but I also recognize that there are a wide variety of opinions and personalities out there in the WSB ether. Making connections with people who share my opinions and being challenged by those who don’t still sounds like a good time!
