KimberleyParticipantAbout time! I love getting your bagels from Cherry Street Coffee, but lately they give me garlic instead of the requested onion when I order. Are they available now?
December 15, 2011 at 2:07 am #743000
pigeonmomParticipantWhat?? Real bagels in Seattle? Where else are these gems available? (Retail)
December 15, 2011 at 2:07 am #743001
SeattleBagelMemberYes! Our bagels are available now at the produce stand!
I think it’s hilarious Cherry Street gave you garlic instead without telling you :) That’s totally a Cherry Street move!
Which location do you frequent???
December 15, 2011 at 1:57 pm #743002
KimberleyParticipantThe Cherry Street location of course! I still love them though, so don’t tell your brother (if my memory serves me correctly). Will your bagels be available in Metro Market again in the future?
December 15, 2011 at 9:49 pm #743003
SeattleBagelMember@Kimberley: Ali Ghambari, the owner of Cherry Street, is my old man! I’m AJ, Ali Jr. He’s got be branded! :) Someday we might get back in there! We’re working hard to grow our reach!
@pigeonmom: Genuine boiled bagels all day, everyday! You live in WS I take it? What area do you work in? I’m happy to direct you to our other retail outlets! Thank you for your interest!

pigeonmomParticipantOlympia, Lacey, White Center, West Seattle and Shoreline are my frequented areas. I don’t go downtown Seattle much.
December 16, 2011 at 12:53 am #743005
pigeonmomParticipantAnd I’ve been dying for a decent bagel since I moved here from Detroit. That was in 1979!

hopeyParticipantI will be comparing these bagels to my beloved New York Bagel & Bialy in Skokie, IL. Hope you pass the test! Ever make bialys?
December 16, 2011 at 7:26 pm #743008
KimberleyParticipantI had a delicious onion one this morning at Cherry Street (they got it right, it was my usual morning barista lady) and I cannot wait to buy some at West Seattle Produce Co. this weekend.

SeattleBagelMemberWatch how our bagels are made:
@pigeonmom We also serve the Shoreline Central Market. We aren’t as far south yet as Lacey and Oly, but we’re in Tacoma at the Stadium Thriftway.
@Kimberley When you say barista lady and you referring to Pam? She’s been there for like 15+ years!
December 18, 2011 at 5:14 pm #743010
KimberleyParticipantSadly I don’t know her name, dark hair, drives an SUV I usually park behind when I stop and grows her own vegetables in the summer.
December 18, 2011 at 10:22 pm #743011
Myr-myrParticipantAnd try Eltana Bagels at 12th and Pike. Fresh boiled and baked throughout the day. This transplant finds them closest to East Coast authentic.

KimberleyParticipantSo very exciting! Tell Pam I say hello, we miss her at Cherry Street.
March 13, 2013 at 12:08 am #743014
datamuseParticipantYay! Another place to get Seattle Bagels! (I love West Seattle Produce but they aren’t always convenient when I have a bagel craving…)
I had to settle for whatever it is they sell at QFC the other week and there was just no comparison. Sad panda.
