Found yellow lab on Pigeon Point

*Sent notice to the editor for the Lost Pets page, but thought I’d double-post here.*

Our neighbor came by to report that a sweet female yellow lab just ran right into his house up here on Pigeon Point, on SW Dakota between 20th and 21st! She is well cared-for with a collar but NO tags. (Weather currently preventing trip to vet to check for microchip.) Please contact Herbert at: 206.932.0465 or h_shepard@comcast.net.

Folks, this sweet lab’s owner has not yet been found or come forward. Our neighbor is still caring for her at this time. She was checked for microchips and has none. The vet estimates her age to be 6–8. I hope we can find her home!

If you haven’t already, please go to Seattle Animal Shelter’s,Lost Pet Page where they have a list of suggestions. http://www.seattle.gov/animal-shelter/lost-pets

Two that would be very helpful are in this situation are:

1. You can list her on ‘Found Pets’: https://web1.seattle.gov/dea/romps/Incident.aspx?FormMode=2

2. Search online Lost and Found listings every day. Especially check the listings on the shelter’s Lost and Found Database and Craigslist.
