MrsShawParticipantAt 8AM, I found a large iPhone in the planter strip on the east side of the 5900 block of 49th Ave SW between Raymond and Juneau. I’d like to get this back to you – can you describe the case or the carrier or the cover picture? DBS in Seaview

diane2726ParticipantIs the phone locked?. We found several phones and just called the last number they dialed or sent a text. I hope you find the owner, I would be lost without mine.

MrsShawParticipantYes it is locked. I left a note on the ground where I found it as well as messages on WSB and Nextdoor Seaview. I would be totally lost without my phone.

DaveBParticipantOn the lock screen, tap Emergency. (If you don’t see that, swipe left to right) . Then if you see Medical ID, tap on that. If the owner has designated an emergency contact it’ll show up there.

MrsShawParticipantDaveB – Thanks for the great tip. Alas, no medical ID listed in the Found iPhone. But it is a good reminder to add one to my personal phone.

jaykayMemberi lost my phone in that area on Monday night, but it wasn’t locked!
Hope it gets to it’s owner soon, i’m lost without mine!

AJPParticipantIf the phone still has charge: press the home button until Siri talks to you. Choose a common name like mom, dad, Sarah, etc, and then tell Siri to call that person. Then tell the person you found this phone. I did this once with a locked phone I found in a park bathroom.
