Finding Home Rentals

Hi all!

For those of you that are renting, I would love some recommendations on how and where you found your rentals – specifically house rentals.

We are currently in an apartment, but are looking to move to a house with a yard (even if small), as we have a herding dog & feel as though a yard would be good for her.

If anyone has leads or recommendations on where to go for home rentals – or who to talk to – I’d love to hear them.

I’ve found that Hotpads is usually a little outdated but is a good starter resource. Zillow and Realtor both list rentals as well as for sale. Craigslist is also a good choice. I found my Junction townhome rental on CL. Research research research and constantly refresh. New things pop up all the time.

I’m in the same boat–trying to find a rental house is tricky. Sometimes they pop up on Trulia; they and Hotpads will both let you create a search alert when anything in your size and price range pops up their website.
