Coupons for the Fire Department

I have been sharing Chinook Book coupons with the men and women of our local Fire Department. A coupon for 6 free fountain drinks at Thriftway would go unused my me, but the good people at the Fire Department really appreciated getting it, as they did getting my other Thriftway coupon for 20% off a $100 purchase. In this day of tight budgets, even a small, random act of kindness shows we still think of them and we value them. I invite other West Seattlites to consider doing the same.

Wonder if there is a post office box where folks could simply drop off unused coupons.

Has anyone asked Lora at Hotwire or Justin at Full Tilt? They have been willing, in the past, to be drop off locations for donations. This is a great idea! Best of luck.

Thanks, folks. Good suggestion about Hotwire and Full Tilt! I will check with them and try to make arrangements to get the coupons from there to the fire stations. It occurs to me that patronizing Thriftway is easiest for the Fire Department because they can pull the engine in there en route. Perhaps Thriftway, too, will consider participating in a coupon dropoff. Myr-myr
