Motley Zoo, an animal rescue group, just won a car in the 100cars.com give-a-way. Big thank yous to the F-cubers and everyone else that voted for them. This is a well-deserved win!

They are not from West Seattle, however, Furry Faces Foundation has partnered with them on a few issues and we have great respect for the work they do.

Not quite sure on the details, i.e., what type of car, when they get it, etc., but will update when we have more info.

Thanks so much for posting our win! We are so honored at all the folks who supported us! Motley Zoo was the only WA state rescue/shelter/etc nominated for this national contest, so this isn’t just a win for us, this is a win for our entire community! We won a Toyota Highlander, which will serve as a dedicated transport vehicle for our animals. Since we are foster-based (meaning we have no central location, but instead exist wherever we have an animal/volunteer) we actually do have a presence in West Seattle! Not only are some of our fosters and adopters located in the area, some of our adoptable kitties are housed in kitty condos at a West Seattle pet store. West Seattle residents have always been so supportive of us and we can’t thank you enough. We thank you so much for helping us continue to help those animals in need.

seh, This is great news! A Toyota Highlander! You just made our day! Hmmm..this may call for a ‘Highlander Warming Party’!

And big ‘Duh!’on us. We absolutely know that Petco adopts out your kitties! So yes, Motley Zoo is connected to West Seattle. ;0)
