goodgracesParticipantLooking for a killer deal on a 5-day parking spot at the airport. Of course, it has to be safe, reliable, convenient, blah blah blah. What are your recommendations?
Thanks!

DaveBParticipantI second Masterpark. All their sites are enclosed.

KevinParticipantI would just leave your car at home and call Shuttle Express. I have always had great service with them.

rockhillsMemberI usually take the bus. It works well if you are close to the 560 and don’t have a tremendous amount of luggage.

FranciParticipantI have been very disappointed with Shuttle Express for a variety of reasons; they usually want to pick me up 3 or 4 hours before my flight – its a 20 min. drive from my house to the airport, I had to wait over an hour one night at the airport for a shuttle to take me home on a Friday evening – I eventually got tired of waiting and found a taxi, then the last shuttle express driver I had was trying to convert me to his religion on the trip to the airport – I was his only passenger.
Masterpark is wonderful; you pull into one of their lots, they meet you immeadiately and get your return info, help you unload your car, there has always been a shuttle waiting, its a quick trip to the airport, they help you with your bags on and off the shuttle, pleasant drivers, its never a long wait on the return trip to get back to your car, and generally they have it waiting for you when you get back to the lot, checking out inside is a breeze, if you are not gone too long its cheaper than a taxi or at the very least the same price and way more convenient.
If I’m going to be away more than a week, I’ll go the taxi route as the parking fees start adding up.

MargLMemberBut what about light rail… oh wait, dang it! :-) Too bad we don’t all live on Beacon Hill, eh?
Anyway – we usually take a cab but pre-kid we used to park in Masterpark. I’ve also received coupons in the mail from SeaTac Park http://www.seatacpark.com/savings.aspx but I’ve never parked there. Just looked like a pretty good deal.
With any lot you probably want to make reservations to make sure there’s a spot available when you travel. One time I traveled I was so focused on getting packed and ticketed to fly I seriously did not even think about the fact that the lot might be full. Duuuur. :-)

mrhinehMemberWe’ve used Econolodge Sandstone, about 3-4 blocks south on Int’l Bvd. $7.99/day, secured lot, but shuttles run every 20 minutes. You do probably have to give yourself an extra 15 minutes compared to the lots across the street. They have always been nice and we’ve never had trouble. We also tried AJAX, but they triple billed us:(
