Admiral Parking under Bartell's

Does anyone else use this parking garage? Couldn’t find parking in the Admiral restaurant area Saturday night so we parked under Bartell’s. 1/2 the parking lot is reserved for Bartell’s customers (and all but two spots were empty.) We parked and went to pay. One sign says “note your parking stall number”. None of the parking stalls are numbers. Another sign said “Pay by credit card only and put receipt on your dash.”. We put our credit card in (for a $2 fee) and no receipt came out of the machine. We took a chance and left our car there with a note under the windshield wiper. Someone needs to fix the problem.

I gave up on that hideous place after using it once. It was supposed to be free parking for the Admiral Twin. What we found was that there would then be a line of cars trying to get out at the once. EACH car was interrogated over the intercom before it was allowed out. It took a very long time to get out and I would never go in again.

I parked in there once a year or so ago when I went to Mission for dinner. It was a last resort b/c we couldn’t find any street parking after driving around awhile. We were all confused about the payment system, plus it just seemed sketchy, and I’ve never parked there since. I think Mission even said they validated but we had to pre-pay so that didn’t work out so well.
