ACCOUNTS PAYABLE SPECIALIST – WORK IN WEST SEATTLE

Indigo Real Estate Services Inc., a national third-party property management company located in Seattle, WA., is currently seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join its West Seattle based team. YARDI Accounting experience is a plus.

The Accounts Payable Specialist will review vendor invoices submitted for payment ensuring account numbers and invoice numbers are correct and that proper authorization and back-up documentation is present for each payment requested as well as process payment of vendor invoices, check requests and expense reports submitted from multiple properties ensuring site specific requirements are handled timely and accurately. The AP Specialist will also interact with vendors to resolve issues with invoices and missing documentation on a regular basis.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of general accounting principles and practices including accounts payable as well as a basic knowledge of mathematical principles, business ethics and proper financial controls. They will have strong data entry skills including typing and 10-key and have a strong working knowledge of spreadsheet applications and accounting systems. They will also have strong oral and written communication skills, be a quick learner, and able to work under multiple deadlines.
