happy hourParticipantI’m always on a mission for the needy. This lady deserves our help. I’ve given as much as I can and set her up with fundanything. If you use twitter please tweet. I but have 10 followers. Lol Thanks to our people in WS !!!!
She lives in west seattle but is listed as if in Oregon for anonymity.

happy hourParticipantThx JoB. I guess my link isn’t working. I’m not sure how to navigate this. I did a copy and paste. It’s fundanything.com. Category ‘hopes and dreams ‘ title of post is ‘I’m hungry’ It is currently on their 3rd page. A picture of a bowl being held. I tried to email you JoB. I answered direct email I received. Feel free to text me. To exchange info 207 dash 271 dash 1828. It’s a family plan- therefore an east coast prefix. Elizabeth only uses the library but I’m on an iPhone She doesn’t have money for a phone. I’ve been paying for her Rx’s that’s as best I can do. I’m in a ditch too :)
I don’t have your email JoB. I think we met years ago at mikes fundraiser.

KevinParticipantMight be best to send your contributions DIRECTLY to the recipient, or perhaps “Happy Hour.” “Fund Anything” gets 9% of all contributions.
https://fundanything.com/en/how#pricing
“It’s always free to start raising money on FundAnything.com. FundAnything charges a 9% fee on the contributions you collect. When you reach your goal, you’ll get 4% back for a fee of just 5%. Additionally, the payment processing companies charge a fee of approximately 3%. – See more at: https://fundanything.com/en/how#pricing”
Almost 10% is a pretty hefty fee to help someone.

i don’t know Elizabeth but i do know Happy Hour..
we have worked together before to help someone in need…
June 18, 2014 at 4:35 am #809705
angelescrestParticipantTrue; I balked at that, but the efficiency beats my time constraints.
June 18, 2014 at 5:02 am #809706
happy hourParticipantWoah. I haven’t checked this til now. I’m so tired I will have to resume mid morning. This is legit. I think wsb can vouch for my very small presence here. You’re right. The program takes nearly 10 o/o. I’m thinking of doing a local bank foundation. Again, thx for all your reply’s. I need to revisit you all in the a.m. I’m proud to be a part of west seattle and seeing this support. I always felt alone helping others and I’ve chosen as such, until now. Have a great night. Cheers. :)

JoBParticipanthappy hour..
you up at 6 AM? :)
you can get my cell phone number from Mike
i would call
but we both know my intentions are great until life overtakes me… it will be a busy day
if nothing else i am thinking we can probably use Mike as a central drop off point.
i am pretty sure he won’t mind getting a couple of visits out of the deal.
it sounds like she could use some immediate relief

Absolutely!
i am pretty sure he won’t mind getting a couple of visits out of the deal.
Wouldn’t mind at all.
Fortunately, I haven’t reverted back to my totally slovenly ways when it comes to housekeeping, rather only to a small degree. So, all I’d have to do is some minor tidying. ;-)
happy hour; looks like I don’t have your phone number. If you don’t have mine, try an e-mail to:

muchloveParticipantI’m all for helping someone in need BUT why doesn’t she utilize the food banks in the area? They’re generous. From personal experience if a person is hungry they utilize the food banks.
June 18, 2014 at 4:25 pm #809711
JoBParticipantbecause her need is for more than food?
June 18, 2014 at 5:48 pm #809712
happy hourParticipantHi every one. I haven’t called yet JoB. I will return the call soonish. Your right. She has overwhelming needs. Perscriptions, rent, and other basic needs we take for granted and onward. Needs a phone, gas to get to doctor etc. but hasn’t asked for everything.
Food banks are only open at certain times (generally cannot schedule things due to illness )and she cannot get fresh natural foods. And allergies to preservatives. I ‘v been to the food bank It’s tough if you have dr related dietary needs.
They had expired and horrible stuff. I was a volunteer. I was donating items other than food. So I worked the tables.
I’ll post more when I know more.
This is early for me. Lol :)
I have my issues too. As does JoB and so many others.
June 18, 2014 at 5:57 pm #809713
happy hourParticipantIf people have issues It’s ok. If you don’t , your help is welcome. I’m sure any woman or mike can attest to basic needs. Rent for one!!!!! Thx to all for your support.
Back when I posted for water for knicklesville, they needed a van or pickup truck. I was there donating toiletries, TP, underwater, clothing, vitamins, and the list goes on People never think of those things. I spent hundreds of dollars and it looked like nothing when I offloaded. Huge piles in the store and boom like pickins upon arrival. Or only to last 1 month.
Blessing to the hood :)
June 18, 2014 at 6:03 pm #809714
PangolinPieParticipantMike, I emailed you; I’d like to help. Please let me know if you don’t receive my mail.
June 18, 2014 at 7:04 pm #809715
happy hourParticipantMike. I emailed U2. I just read if it was a scam or not. Pretty high rolling Ponzie scam for sure :)
Did you know the clothing drive for the blind is actually a huge business for the thrift stores. By law, only 3 o/o needs to go to a non profit. I’ve done a ton of homework in my many years. The CEO’s are extremely wealthy. They were dumbfounded when I exposed this information to them. No comment at all.
I met a man years ago who was drunk at chinooks. He was boasting about his many non profit endeavors state to state. I did my homework for sure. 3 o/o Off my soap box now.

miwsParticipantJune 18, 2014 at 10:34 pm #809717
Westside2ParticipantI would like to help… what’s the best way for me to do that? Are one of you still taking donations so they don’t get the 10% cut going to the site? Also wondering if there’s anything she might need to be donated that people could buy for her as well – I am happy to do a run to Target or the grocery store as well.
June 18, 2014 at 11:53 pm #809718
happy hourParticipantHi everybody. I lost the link and found it again. I’m not that organized yet for a plan. I’ve emailed mike some options. ie gift cards that don’t charge an activation for grocery, gas, drug store, cash for doctor and supplements Doctor has been seeing her near pro bono , and that’s gottah be hard for The clinic —-is not a huge place with big profits at all. Let’s spread it out so she’s not flat broke every month after 2 weeks. Time.
Gift cert to thrift store outlet in Southcenter???? I forgot the name of it. She had to buy a couple of tops and capris when it got hot out. I guess cash is good for things like that. I need to chill right now. Thx for lunch JoB !!!!!!! I have yet to deliver your gift / card
