herongrrrlParticipantMy sweetie just went to Budget Cuts at California and Charleston and was very impressed with them.

SueParticipantI don’t know the name of it, but my husband goes to the hair salon on the north side of Alaska, just east of California. It’s probably fairly inexpensive because he won’t pay much for haircuts. :)

charlabobParticipantThe bob goes to Westside Barber Shop (3443 California) and he’s been very pleased with everyone who’s cut his hair there. He used to BE a barber so he’s very picky. (Thanks to Jan for the initial recommendation!)

JoBParticipanthubby uses a place in chinatown.. up a rickety set of stairs… under a “massage’ Parlor… that is inexpensive and gives him a sense of adventure…
i can’t recommend the haircut.. though he is very pleased with his occasional shearing… but if the sense of adventure appeals.. Pm me and i will get the particulars from him:)
Westside Barber does provide a great no frills haircut in a comfortable setting at a good price… I had my hair cut there for a while before i was seduced back to a place with all the frills.

YardvarkMemberThere can’t possibly be a better haircut than a man gets at the Psychic Barber (aka Rick’s, I think) on California. Get your fortune read while you wait for a trim. Highly recommended.

celeste17ParticipantThere is a place in back of the Chelan Cafe. I don’t know the name of it or anything else. Just have seen it when I go to eat.

andreaParticipantmy husband goes to the barbershop behind Chelan Cafe that celeste mentioned…its a small place that’s a real guys guy type of shop, where they talk sports, cars, the weather, whatever…he pays $10 I believe and loves it there.

OlMomParticipantBall and chain likes West Side on California but I think it may be for the reading material.

miwsParticipantYardvark, yeah, Rick is the psycho, uhhhhh….”psychic barber”! (I can call him psycho, because he’s a good buddy of mine. Of course I don’t call him that when he’s standing behind me with a pair of scissors in his hand, as I’m seated in the barber chair! ;-) )
