    Westside School is seeking joyous part-time individuals to work in our Extended Day Program (EDP). The role of the EDP staff member is to supervise children, coordinate activities, and work in conjunction with other staff and the Extended Day Director.     We need a patient, competent person with great organization skills to assist with getting a (biz) 10′ storage area in West Seattle in ship-shape (used by an online biz). That includes organizing boxes, photographing items, labeling items boxes, creating inventory list etc. Must be physically fit / able to maneuver in a 10′ storage area – strong enough to lift about 30 pounds, comfortably lift boxes overhead, assist with getting larger items onto a cart) and agile enough to balance and maneuver in a small, crowded space like a storage area. Prefer someone with SUV or truck to assist with moving possible donations from the storage area to the appropriate place. Women are encouraged to apply / employ those well-honed organizational life skills you’ve developed. Can offer $110 for a 4-hour project session. (We anticipate about 2 to 4 (4-hour) sessions total; a few days or one week apart. Mornings preferred. Covid safety high-priority, and an N95 mask is a must while inside the storage area.     Position Overview and Job Description:

    The Program Manager will provide direct service, in addition to providing oversight and management of WSFB’s Helpline Services, including our Clothesline, Hotline, Community Connector Program, and eviction prevention services. This position will report directly to the Executive Director, provide direct supervision of the Client Services Coordinator and volunteers working on the Hotline, and will work closely with the Volunteer Coordinator to manage our Clothesline services. Helpline Services include financial assistance for rent, utilities and move in deposits; providing and managing resource and referral information; distribution of bus tickets; and our free clothing bank, the Clothesline. This position is critical to serving the individuals and families in our community who are at risk of homelessness, hunger, and other detrimental poverty-related outcomes.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Review client applications, conduct client meetings, and work with debtors to complete financial assistance.
    Manage Client Services Coordinator to ensure effective services for our Community Connections services.
    Verify all payee and tenant information for financial assistance and process payments.
    Coordinate with staff and Clothesline volunteers to ensure highest quality experience for clients and volunteers.
    Manage and maintain the Helpline database (Apricot).
    Provide volunteer training, and oversight for Hotline services.
    Collaborate with other agencies to ensure coordinated services.
    Provide administrative and logistical support as needed.
    Other duties as assigned.

    Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

    Degree in Social Work or related field, with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a related field. Additional work experience may be substituted for academic background.
    Experience working with low-income, underserved, and marginalized groups and ability to provide trauma-informed services.
    Ability to manage conflict with diplomacy.
    Experience supervising staff and volunteers.
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    English proficiency with proficiency in a 2nd language preferred.
    High levels of organization and attention to detail.
    Knowledge of pertinent issues, including housing security, human services, and addressing injustices in underserved communities.
    Proficiency in Microsoft Office/ Google Suite and comfort learning new computer programs & systems.
    Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team.
    Ability to take direction, manage projects independently, and work accurately under a deadline to produce clear organized reports and documents.

    Full time exempt, some weekends and evenings required.
