I found a wallet on the ground in West Seattle. Identify it with a matching address and what it contained to claim. I have researched online to find the owner with no luck.
The police department non-emergency said to drop it in a mailbox. I’ll wait a week to see if we can reunite it with the owner.

I have 40 lbs. of cat litter I’d like to donate to a cat rescue, but I’m unable to deliver it. The rescues I’ve contacted either don’t bother to respond at all, or refuse to pick up. Are there any rescues out there that could pick up in West Seattle? If so, please leave contact info.

Hey all. I was finally able to rescue my clothes! But it was a huge ordeal!

I spoke to the owner of the cofre place next door and they said things like these have been happening over the last decade and the owner of that place is completely AWOL…

I brought my toolbox to unscrew a panel to get to the back of the machine thinking if I could unplug it maybe it would unlock. But it being an industrial machine it had a thick cable going to the back of a column I couldn’t access…

I tried calling customer service from the manufacturers and got a “please call back during business hours” message!

Jeez… finally started to experiment just pressing all the buttons, holding them for long periods of time… I don’t know what I did but suddenly the machine popped and unlocked!!!

So I went next door and asked them for a sticky note to put on the machine to warn others…

Suffice to say I will NEVER go back to that place and I’m putting 1 star reviews for it everywhere I can.

    What a nightmare!

Does anyone know who owns the Olympic Heights Laundry place up on 35th? Or how to contact them? Yesterday I went to do laundry and their machine threw an error and it won’t open the door! Two thirds of my clothes are in it!

The only number I found online is disconnected. I went back at closing time thinking someone must come close the place for the night but it’s all automated, no one came!

I opened a support ticket through the app used for payment but they only do the money movement so they replied “we’ve let management at Olympic heights laundry know” but I’m at the mercy of them ever seeing that message!

Does anyone have any leads? I feel like I’d want to take a toolbox and try to take down the machine’s door somehow!!!
