Topic: Mufasa the 3-legged kitten
For anyone who’s interested in Mufasa, he now has a Facebook page. They grow up so fast nowadays…
Topic: Help Bring Luna Home
Luna had a freak, indoor accident which resulted in breaking her leg. Her humans contacted AARF and Furry Faces to see if we could provide financial assistance, (which we are). Luna’s medical bill is larger than either of our groups can afford so we are hoping there are folks that may want to contribute a few dollars. If so, you may call South Seattle Vet @ 206-242-8338 or go to AARF’s website, http://www.myaarf.org, to utilize their PayPal…just be sure to type ‘Luna’ in the notes field.
The family took in Luna when someone no longer wanted her. To see a photo of Luna and read more about her, go to:

Luna’s humans are facing very difficult, financial hardships. They love Luna and are working hard to raise the needed funds. The son is selling a keepsake ring to help finance the cost of her surgery; the family is contacting friends and relatives to see if they can assist; they are putting a plea out on their own facebook pages.
Thank you for considering this request and please, please feel free to share it on your own facebook pages, with friends, and relatives.
These two adorable boys were part of Kitty Harbor’s MLK Weekend adoption event and they are still interviewing potential adoptive humans! Please call Kitty Harbor @ 935-1919 to meet them.
A total of 47 cats and kittens found homes during the MLK weekend adoption event. If it hadn’t snowed on Sunday, we believe everyone would have found their forever home. Just four 5 month old kittens are still looking….please call Kitty Harbor today!
Topic: Young At ART :)
I just popped in to say ‘Hi’ and was tickled pink to see how awesome the space is! Suite Arrangements had donated a table to Theresa when she was looking for work surfaces when she was setting up her shop and today was the first time I had a chance to have a look. There were a couple of little tykes completely absorbed in their artwork, surrounded by all the supplies you could imagine.
Looks like a great idea for anyone with little ones who would like a creative outlet space and a little ‘free time’ for Mom and/or Dad :)
Here’s some info on them that was posted here https://westseattleblog.com/2011/10/new-business-in-the-west-seattle-junction-young-at-art
For the upcoming WS ArtWalk Dave Bloomfield aka Starheadboy http://starheadboy.blogspot.com/ will be the featured artist and I also learned that there will be a ‘special ladies night’ on Friday Jan, 13th!
