Recently, we are approved for a relocation to Seattle (we are in East Coast) and looking into a school with dual language program in Seattle and surrounding areas to continue our son’s education.

    If you are transferring from out-of-state, is it difficult to secure a spot in the Concord Int at higher grade elementary? Also, we would really like to know the
    Dual language program at Denny International Middle School and Chief Sealth International High School, should we (if we can get into Concord) decide to stay with immersion going forward. Deeply appreciate your comments on this.

    I see Dr Taylor who is a little bit hard to get into, but I’ve also seen Dr. Middleman and Dr. Doterro. They have varying appointment times based on whether it’s a simple, acute condition, or a more complex one. I usually book a 45-minute appointment to really be heard and I really love that they’re not just shoving meds at you (unless needed) and also ask questions about everything going on in your life in a holistic approach.

    SusieQ, That is one of my “other complaints” that the Doctor’s nowadays only want to allot you 15mins. not that I want to be there all day but really 15mins while you wait up to 1/2hr or more for the Doctor to even come into the room.

    Dr. Dagg at Swedish (right near Petco in the junction) is old school in the sense that he doesn’t prescribe pills if he doesn’t have to. Most I’ve gotten from him is a regiment of ibuprofen for a week and see if that cures my pain. Usually does. I like this about him.

    On the flip side, he is part of a corporation that needs “billables” so in my experience, while he is very nice, he also doesn’t spend as much time with me as I’d like. Might just be me though.
