Hi there! I’m developing a 90 minute, one act FARCE and am in need of some large free space where I can develop the show at. Honestly does anyone know who works at the Kenmore? I’ve tried to reach out, but I’m not sure this is typical show that they usually present there. That would be ideal.
    THank you!

The guy I met went by another name. Who knows. I followed up on this post and reported that a guy was bugging me outside my RV and made sure I saw he had burglar tools. Really scary. This just isn’t the neighborhood it used to be

I hate to say it, but the fact that one bedroom apartments are renting for $1,600 and up, I find it unlikely to find a house in West Seattle within your budget. That said, miracles can happen, so you might want to drive around and look at signs to see what’s out there. There are also two websites, padmapper.com and hotpads.com where you can look for rentals and put in all your filters to see what’s available. Good luck!

    Hello.
We are a family of three with a young kiddo. We have lived in the same home, Admiral area of West Seattle, for seven years. We absolutely love it here.
The owners of the home we are renting have decided to sell, so that puts us in the position of looking for a new place to call home.
We are financially stable, we have good credit, and stellar references.
We don’t have any pets- though our kiddo would love to get a feline at some point if time/space allows for one.
We garden, we bike and hike, and love being outdoors. We’re pretty strong advocates of getting to know our neighbors and enjoy participating in community building. Being a 9-5 family with a young kiddo, we’re fairly quiet- early to bed. We don’t host large gatherings.
We like to think we take care of our rental space as we’d take care of our own home. We are effective communicators and pay rent on time.

We are in search of a stand alone home with a yard and some space for storage in West Seattle. Staying admiral area would be amazing, but we’re open to surrounding neighborhoods too. We are looking for something for June 1.
We would like 2+ bedrooms, and W/D/dishwasher would be preferred. We’d love around 1000sq feet- but say that loosely: a bit more or a bit less would likely work for us too.
Our budget is $1600-$2400- with $2000(ish) being our ideal. Again, there’s room to chat.
If we sound like a good fit for renting and taking care of your home, please reach out. We’d love to connect.
    Thanks for reading.

Founded in 2005, The Community School of West Seattle (CSWS) is a creative, exploratory and play-based preschool that each year serves 100 children between 3-5 years old, and their families.
At the heart of our philosophy is the idea that play is the work of children and that play is how children learn. We believe that if a child’s first experience at school is joyful and relevant, if their curiosity is validated and honored, then learning will become a life-long pursuit.

She might also consider adding 98166 Burien to the mix. I moved here from WS a few years ago and it is a nice area with rents typically still a bit lower. Don’t be fooled by the vison of Burien as only 1st Ave So. There is so much more- lovely residential areas, great old town, restaurants, a great library, PCC and Trader Joes, and with 509 it is easy to go north and south. I always thought it would be out of the question because of the airport, and I am amazed how little I hear it.

Hello me, my daughter, toddler grandson are looking for a 3 bedroom 1.5 bath house for rent. My daughter recently came back home to live due to her sons father passing away. Credit is terrible but employment and rental history is good. Willing to spend 2500 a month in rent. We would even consider a duplex as long as it has 1.5 bath.

I visited Cottage Grove Park at 26th Ave. SW today to walk the labyrinth, and was sad to discover that the paint has worn off to the point of making it unusable. It is in desperate need of cleaning, paint, and a welcoming sign. Wondering if others have been wanting to walk this little gem of a labyrinth as well.

The hum heard from incoming and outgoing ferries is the sounds of the engines and screws of the ferry in the water. Under the right conditions it can induce sound into the earth, just like you walking on it, but with more pressure Not the Hum.

The hum is NOT infrasound, solar panels, 5G, net metering, fish, or the like. It’s the vacuum pumps and/or compressors used to load and unload the barges at CalPortland, formerly Glacier NW. This is definitive. There has been quite a lot of investigation into this.

sbone, She has lived in this home since 1958/1959 and it’s right above the Ferry Docks and she swears up and down it is not the cars loading and unloading, it is not the ships going by on the water… it has us stumped and we’ve been hearing about this “hum/sound” from her for way too long. :>(

When we moved to West Seattle and rented a house down by the ferry dock, there was a low frequency sound that came and went with the arrival and departure of each ferry…could the “WS Hum” be as simple as that?
