How are our Green Home Cleaners Prepared for their job?
Our home cleaners work in teams of two and are carefully mentored and shadowed. They are hand trained on our tools, supplies, and techniques in the field! No online video courses – only one on one mentoring We provide you the quality checklists you need to check your own work once the one to one mentoring process is past. You are also mentored and encouraged by your senior crew members, who care about investing in your success!
What does the job entail?
Three days a week to start, an average of 6.5 hours per day working with the team The team works together all day – no split shifts, no “only mornings” or “only afternoons” schedules Our hours of operation are Monday – Friday, 8AM to 5PM. No weekends or national holidays (please refer to our handbook for covered national holidays) The job entails general house beautification, which is composed of full cleaning of exterior and appliance surfaces of kitchen and bathrooms, dusting, primping of common areas, pet hair mitigation and general furniture beautification, making beds, taking out trash and recycling, plus vacuuming and mopping of floors Also includes bonus rounds like making little magical scenes out of stuffed animals for kids to discover, and petting dogs and cats and administering treats, when offered. It entails having an open heart and mind, a friendly and fun attitude, and a willingness to be at a job where everyone genuinely cares about one another and their clients and coworkers.
What is the compensation package?
* $22.00 hour base pay to start, plus gratuity (average pay = $23.50 an hour with gratuity)
* $22.50/ hour after 6 months and a positive customer and peer review (average $25.50 an hour with gratuity)
* Drivers receive a drive stipend of $7 per stop (drivers average $26-27/hour with drive stipend and gratuity)
* $300 retention bonus on your first check with us (MUST COMPLETE 60 DAYS to retain the bonus, and EVERY SIX MONTHS thereafter!!!
* Looking for a six month commitment from our next candidate
* Paid drive time between stops* $300 recruiting bonus when you bring on a team member that stays for 6 weeks!

I’ve asked some people in person, and the answer always tends to be a “weeeeellll… sort of but you will have to baby it and may never get fruit.” However I got a lot of skepticism about my plans to grow peaches in my backyard, and by selecting a suitable variety (Frost, for the record) I get more peaches than I know what to do with every summer. Are there citrus varieties that will produce edible fruit here? I’m not expecting prime ruby grapefruits or anything, but has anyone had personal success with something intended to be more sour like a lemon or lime tree? Maybe a kumquat?
We are wanting to get new kitchen counter tops, a new sink, and new backsplash. Does anyone have a recommendation of someone who has done this type of work?

Position: Housekeeper
Job Objective: The Housekeeper is responsible for the cleanliness of the Village, including the common areas and resident’s weekly apartment cleaning, the laundry service for the residents and the maintenance of the Village. Ensures that these services are delivered in a courteous and cheerful manner.
Authority: This position reports to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
Major Responsibilities:
• Works with the Housekeeping Supervisor and the Community Relations Manager to coordinate apartment turnovers in a timely and cost effective manner.
• Regularly cleans apartments and cottages.
• Willing to work all shifts, including weekends, to accommodate the 24-hour, 7-day a week nature of our work.
• Willing to wear a pager and be on call if needed.
• Handles special projects as requested.
• Performs all duties in accordance with detailed procedures and checklists.
Physical Demands: Good physical and mental health. Work is of light (5-25 lb.) to medium (25-40 lb.). May be required to lift and carry upholstered furniture, and/or lift and carry major appliances using an appliance dolly, or heavy garbage sacks of 50 lb. or more.
Special Demands: A preference for routine and organized activities. A temperament adaptable to routine work and to perform short cycle repetitive duties under specific instructions.
