Seen it happen three times, all in a short period of time.
First time a car slowed down at an intersection as the light changed from yellow to red. The car behind it crossed the double yellow line into the oncoming lane and gunned it to pass and blow through the red light!
Second time the car at the front of the intersection wouldn’t go when the light turned green. Just sat there for 10 seconds until a car in the intersecting lane ran the red light. It was just going regular speed too, wasn’t gunning it to beat the light or anything. It was like the first car knew this was going to happen.
Third time the car was also going at normal speed. Light turned red, driver wasn’t anywhere close to the intersection but didn’t even attempt to slow down. Just casually crossed the intersection like it was still green.
I’m professional picker, buyer/seller and have been in business for over 20 years. I’m the guy out there pounding the pavement, so you don’t have to. I usually have a couple G-Sales a year, but I’m getting old and just don’t have that kind of time or energy for that anymore. If you have been to any of my G-Sales before you know that it’s not to be missed. This year I’ll be in the front yard with big yellow sandwich board signs. This is a physical job designed for true dog lovers. You will be walking independently and tasked with keeping clients’ pets safe and following any instructions provided by the client. Ideal routes are normally within one neighborhood, but you will need to travel to multiple households during the day and provide your own transportation.We place great emphasis on safety, customer service, and self-reliance. Most walkers work an equivalent of 10-30 hours a week, but you can take on as many or as few service requests or clients as you choose. Our walkers find the flexibility that our company provides to be an ideal way to stay independent and balance other jobs, clients, or school with the freedom of self-employment.

• Provide loving care to our clients cats and small critters.
• Follow the care instructions laid out by clients. This means being able to read and understand instructions given and execute what was asked.
• Care for cats includes refreshing water and food dishes, scooping litter boxes, sweeping up around litter boxes, cleaning up messes (ex hairballs), administering medications, playing with cats and/or proving love. This job requires frequent bending and kneeling.
• Monitor the well being of kitties and report any behavioral or physical changes.
• Administer medication if required.

Has anyone reported the illegal pruning by the residents on 36th Ave SW along the east facing slope of the steep hillside above Admiral Way. Terrible, messy and certainly non-permitted for the ECA slope and all the debris just left in a jumbled mess. This cannot be allowed to continue!
Also in North Admiral there’s been another swath of heavy, destructive pruning and tree falling on Bonair Street. Looks like this might be a city project but trying to clarify.

I haven’t seen a mention of the West Seattle ‘Hum’ here for quite awhile but I believe it is back! We live next to Madison Middle School and are hearing the pulsating hum all day long – it’s driving us crazy. Is anyone else hearing this?
It became more noticeable about 4 weeks ago.
For those that haven’t experienced this, it’s best described as a low frequency sound that occurs in a very slow pulsating pattern. Aka ‘the hum’.
