I used to be a PM for a large electrical contractor and I drove a service truck for many years, wrote scopes of work, proposals, estimates, etc, and I’ve been a licensed electrician for 19 years and a Master for 12 of them.

I would never request the quote from a competitor and, as a customer for subs I would’ve blacklisted a contractor for requesting the bid info from other contractors I had solicited a bid from.

Don’t use this contractor. Find another.

I am seeing that. I am self employed no family. If break an ankle say I can not work. I have no way of getting any assistance. Savings, well I am sure you are well aware, covid killed that.

So I see this that this is a way of “social health care” but sadly it seems that the self employed get left behind. Now I understand this is more LONG term health care issue, such as anything terminal health issue. Again if I get anything terminal, I will not be able to afford to stay alive. Thank god for great life insurance.

I am still researching and will be making calls. shame on the government to pass this.

Especially the time line, can’t use it for at least 3 years or 10 years. I got confused on that. Many I know will be dead before that.

We’re looking for someone who can do weekly cleanings at our home in Highland Park. Work would be pretty standard housekeeping stuff (bathrooms, kitchen, vacuuming, etc, we’ll provide a list) plus a rotating list of deeper cleaning things that don’t need to happen every week (baseboards, fridge, blinds, etc).

We’re offering $20/h. Scheduling is flexible. We think it would take 3-4 hours of work once a week to get through our list, but we’re flexible if it turns out that our estimate is wrong. We’re also open to the possibility of extra hours if you’re interested in coming more than once a week and doing some extra dishes, laundry, etc.

We’re a family of 4 plus a dog, and our home is 3 beds, 2 baths, 1700 sq ft. Hablamos español. We’ll provide all necessary cleaning supplies, or you bring your own if you prefer.

This one is making me crazy!! It is so poorly planned, the total benefit is a joke, that amount wont be enough to make a dent on anyone’s long term care, its taking money from people who will never be eligible to collect because they will stop working before ten years have passed, or move away. if anyone can share the groups fighting this I’d appreciate it. The governor and legislators behind this need to hear from us that this is not ok. I also think if people don’t read the details, they will think this money is going towards actual long term care insurance rather than a bucket of money that may or may not ever have any personal benefit.

As per the state, they can raise the tax from .58 up to $1.00 per $100 earned. I called my local insurance company… $428 per month.
Also says the taxation starts Jan 1st 2022 and benefits can start in 2025, but you have pay in for 10 years or three of the last six years.

For me personally I recently retired but for my husband he’s still working for maybe another 5 years so the payroll deductions for those 5 years he will never be able to use any of it if I’m understanding it correctly it says you must had worked no less than 10 years to do so and also if you move out of State that money is as good as gone, it is only to use if you stay in the State of Wa. unlike some retiree’s that move to warmer climates???
So what do you all think of this State enforcement?

Here’s the deal: We need thoughtful and passionate folks to work a 1/2 day (4 hours) or full day shift (whichever you’d like) over the next few weeks, temporarily. It could be one-day or 5 days a week — your choice, we’d just love to see your smiling faces on the production floor!

Here’s what you’d be doing: Helping our production team with tasks! You will be measuring ingredients, scooping dough (it’s not heavy), putting product in packages with the team, helping out with dishes, making boxes, and generally helping out on the floor with like-minded friends!

Here’s what to expect: Shifts are between 8 AM to 6 PM, and times are flexible around your schedule. We ask you to get a Washington State Food Worker Card and you’d be trained on basic food safety and facility safety when you arrive at HQ. You’d be paid as an employee of Rebellyous. You can schedule only the shifts that work for you — so lots of flexibility. You will be wearing production-grade clean or new boots, smocks, and hairnets provided by Rebellyous.

Here’s what we need from you: We need your time for 1/2 or full day shifts for a couple times over the next few weeks. You need to be able to stand or walk around for the full 4 hours or 8 hours with rest breaks and lunch breaks. Granola bars and fruit provided for breaks. You will need to be able to do some light lifting and bending, but we can accommodate nearly any mobility limitation if you tell us ahead of time, so don’t let that stop you. You also need to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. We ask that you commit to just a few or more shifts in the next few weeks.

I would personally love to have you come work with us for this short stint! It’s going to be tons of fun, and you get to see the plant-based meat industry in action first hand changing the meat industry.

Award-winning and fun-loving Welcome Road Winery in West Seattle is looking for an energetic, outgoing, and customer service-focused individual to join our tasting room team. The position is part-time – between 10 and 15 hours per week – primarily on Fridays and Saturdays, with additional opportunities to fill-in and pour at private or industry events. Responsibilities
