Arbor chips? Do you mean wood chips? Any place that sells bark would also likely have them. We always use Sawdust Supply Co. on 7th Ave. in Georgetown. They are great!

I just turned 65. I am signed up for Medicare and have bookmarks for a lot of websites with information. Rather overwhelming. Anyone have suggestions for Medicare Advantage policies? Or part D? Or do I just stay with basic medicare? I don’t have any major health problems.

    Hi!
We are getting our house ready to sell and looking for help with yard clean up. Cleaning up fallen debris, pruning back some shrubs, potentially spreading wood chips/mulch in the beds. General spruce up. Any recommendations of local and affordable companies? I think it would be about one half day for a small crew or less. Thanks!

As a music educator in White Center, close to West Seattle, I feel a need for the parents of these gang members, most likely due to economics, that cannot spend as much time with their children, which creates a need for their children to belong to a group and ending up in their being accepted by gangs, should have more support from the community. Otherwise, the community will experience effects from such lack of compassion. It always starts in the home. I would teach any gang member FREE MUSIC LESSONS if it would get them to stay off the streets and practice their piano, bass or guitar homework. I want to help my community and I want to help gang members’ parents and families. Call me if you need my help. (206) 835-0840. We all must do what we can to help this world.

I witnessed a horrible thing that happen, one of my worst nightmares unfolded in front of me and my friend

We were behind a pick up truck and in the back seat with the window open saw a pomeranian jump out and land on it heads and roll a few times, and then dart across the street. The guy just kept driving he did NOT even know this happened.

My friend was able to corner the dog, under a bush in a fence line. I had towels, and was able to carefully get him out, yelling and screaming.

As we were heading out, my friend notices, what she thinks is the guy…..well, we haul ass and chase him down, and thank god a red light happened.

We pull over, and I am not going to lie, I lost it on him.

SECURE YOUR DOGS WITH BUCKLES OR A CRATE OR A HARNESS.

Also for those of you who like your dog in your lap, when that air bag goes off your dog is smashed into YOUR chest dead.

Again if you call your dogs your “children” then treat them as a young child secure them.

Sad to be posting this but I believe I lost my ring somewhere in between the Admiral District Cheveron and the junction. I believe it fell off when pumping gas at the cheveron. Big reward for whoever can return it. The stone isn’t real and it isn’t worth much so I’m hoping whoever has it sees this and find it in their heart to please return it. It has a pink center stone with tiny tiny diamonds along the band which is gold in color. I have many photos I can provide for confirmation and a reward. I’m heartbroken it’s gone. Thank you in advance. 206-430-4440

Also, a very large viburnum shrub which may or may not be moveable. We call it the golf ball: 10’ x 20’

Taken from my car last Saturday, expecting some of it to be dumped as none of it was valuable except to me. Total list:

-Long wool moss green coat (belonged to my mother who just died.)
-Cool old leather briefcase with double handles. At the time it had two giant glass snifters zipped in it but odds are a person would have smashed those by accident
-Two polished up antique blow torches (were in a paper bag with the logo for Mega Antiques on it)
-Purple hardshell Skyline carryon with spinner wheels

If any of this is found lying around, let me know. Not expecting much, but who knows! Thank you.

I am hiring one or two LMPs, and one LMP/esthetician to work with me in my beautiful treatment room in West Seattle. The room is spacious and has all new equipment including an electric table, hydrocollator, hot stones/heater and steam towel cabinet. Esthetician equipment is coming soon. My practice is located inside an awesome fitness facility (not a gym) that mostly caters to women (but men are definitely clients too).

I am looking for a therapist interested in or experienced in Deep Tissue / Neuro Muscular Therapy; Hot Stone Therapy; and pre and post-natal massage. If you are interested in learning about and practicing pre-natal massage and yoga, this is a perfect place for your massage practice. A Dermalogica-trained Esthetician is preferred, but other trainings and skin care lines used are considered.

The right therapist will be resourceful, reliable, responsible, experienced or not (graduates considered), have an established client base or willing to build one, communicative, kind, and have a healthy sense of humor! I am also considering Graduates in a “mentorship” where you will learn advanced massage techniques and receive (free) trainings / workshops. Appropriate CE courses may be part of your compensation.

Hours are flexible and dependent upon your requirements. You will earn well above average rates. Therapists who want to earn good money, who want to build their own practice with my help and help of my already busy practice (within a facility with a large established client base who want your services)! Start date would be March or as soon as you’d like to have hours.

If you are an amazing therapist or are interested in learning and becoming an amazing therapist, and you want to grow your business by leaps and bounds, please contact me asap. This really is a fantastic opportunity for the right therapist!

    Thank you!

It’s way too early for me to jump on anyone’s bandwagon. However, I’m not opposed to all these candidates, young/old or experienced/new in politics. Our Democratic Republic is being chipped away bit by bit with this current administration and the rule of law allowed to be broken with impunity day after day, completely unchecked by our lawmakers. I’ve never been so appalled or frightened for this country. So, IMHO the more voices out there railing against our “new normal” which is so abnormal, the better. Bring on tons of candidates that will raise loud voices of concern and opposition. The system will sort them out in the end and then I can choose to support the candidate that will best represent me.

Craig399, I might be with you. It’s still a little early to tell. I’m not loving any of the other candidates so far, and Bernie has the most substantial, fleshed-out plans I’ve heard – not mere talking points. Warren would have been my choice a year ago, but she’s made some blunders that made me a bit squeamish. Biden is an idiot. Harris is unconvincing, and the rest are immediately dismissable. We should not allow the DNC to pick a candidate for us this time by sabotaging the real favorite. I do know one thing for sure: my decision will be based on competence, not on age.
