Excited to have the opportunity to support Bernie again in 2020! Who’s with me?

Ugh! The only thing worse than Bernie is hearing that Joe Biden is giving it another go. Step aside old men- if you were supposed to be president you would have made it by now. I appreciate their ideas, its just that Bernie is too far left and Biden…he gives me the creeps. IMHO they have no chance.

Craig399, I might be with you. It’s still a little early to tell. I’m not loving any of the other candidates so far, and Bernie has the most substantial, fleshed-out plans I’ve heard – not mere talking points. Warren would have been my choice a year ago, but she’s made some blunders that made me a bit squeamish. Biden is an idiot. Harris is unconvincing, and the rest are immediately dismissable. We should not allow the DNC to pick a candidate for us this time by sabotaging the real favorite. I do know one thing for sure: my decision will be based on competence, not on age.

Yeah, as much as I like Bernie and most of his ideas, I think he needs to step down and let some younger, more diverse candidates take the stage. I’d rather see him help with fundraising and endorsements.

Bernie smashed fundraising with $6 million in the first 24 hours. There’s a lot of support for him across the country!

Bernie is the only candidate that can bring people together to defeat Trump in 2020.

Bernie is a socialist. Just like most of the ones who want to be President. They call themselves Democrats but they are lying.

Socialism DOES NOT WORK and anyone who runs on that soapbox will not win. Americans are too smart for that. I see no one on the Democrat side that I would even consider voting for. Sad but true.

T Sex: sounds like you are against Democrats not just the candidates. Too early to rule out party before all hats arevthroen in the ring and a candidate to represent is chosen. Voting on party just because of the name doesn’t work any longer. The candidate needs to be scrutinized before a person should reject them. We shouldn’t close our minds so fast, we might miss out on someone perfect for the position.

    here we go again
what do you think is going to happen when the opposition research that was never aired by either party in the last presidential election hits? .. and it won’t hit until he becomes THE candidate.

It’s way too early for me to jump on anyone’s bandwagon. However, I’m not opposed to all these candidates, young/old or experienced/new in politics. Our Democratic Republic is being chipped away bit by bit with this current administration and the rule of law allowed to be broken with impunity day after day, completely unchecked by our lawmakers. I’ve never been so appalled or frightened for this country. So, IMHO the more voices out there railing against our “new normal” which is so abnormal, the better. Bring on tons of candidates that will raise loud voices of concern and opposition. The system will sort them out in the end and then I can choose to support the candidate that will best represent me.

Oh and by the way, Bernie is not a SOCIALIST! He is a democratic socialist and there is a difference! And what makes you think Socialism doesn’t work? Because some Socialist countries have collapsed? So have some Democratic countries and Communist countries. Government is a delicate thing and countries who want to keep a good governmental system need to work hard at keeping their governmental system viable and in step with what they want out of life.

Yes, socialism is evil. I can’t stand the Post office, the Fire department, Social Security, the interstate highway system, The VA hospital, free public schools. Free us from this tyranny republicans. And just because the Democratic Socialist countries of Scandinavia have the highest happiness rating of any countries doesn’t mean anything.

No one has proposed Socialism. No one. There are elements of Democratic Socialism (or whatever it’s called) that are in the various platforms but nothing more that what is in play in our allies countries.

We socialize many things in this country from roads to the debts and losses of corporations (oddly we don’t socialize those profits!). Health insurance wasn’t even allowed to be for profit until Ronnie Reagan was in office. Now we’ve made suffering and misery profit centers, things like medical care and prisons are now privatized leading to lobbying for more crimes requiring incarceration (while private prisons are worse than state funded) and health insurance is directly benefited by denying claims. My insurance cost $15,000 last year. How much of that was ever actually used for medical costs for my group?

Thank you to the people posting support. I know we can win and put an end to Trump once and for all!!! Not to mention we desperately need to solution the healthcare crisis in this country. Medicare for all is the solution and Bernie will make it happen.

This movement already has enough support behind it to ensure success. With the superdelegate issue from 2016 now fully resolved, we can deal the final blow to GOP occupation and put an end to fascism once and for all!

I am a bit surprised by the dissenting voices, to be truthful. Really thought Seattle was more of a progressive, intersectional, working class area than this. Perhaps T Rex needs to brush up on what these terms mean, and how we as citizens of Earth need to come together to put an end to tyrannical corporate rule.

Craig,399, where on earth did you come up with the idea that Seattle was working class?!

I don’t know where you’re getting the Kool-Aid but you really need to stop drinking it. Your ‘long live the glorious proletariat!’ style rhetoric is almost comically stereotypical and exactly what the Republicans use against us, and that’s coming from a devoutly pro-labor worker.
