Voodoo… for sure! In the case of the Lulu Duckies of West Seattle, it is duckyturkey rather than turducken, because, well, the ducks are on the outside and the turkeys are on the inside… that is, to say, in technical terms, the Thanksgiving Duckies are mostly duckies with a pinch of turkey. As for turducken, they are called that because they are actually turkeys stuffed with duck which has been stuffed with chicken… the “en” stands for “chicken.” If it were alive, it would sound like… uh, cluck, quack, gobble… or a variation thereof.

One of our most famous Thanksgiving Duckies is “Indiepilgroturk ducky” coz he has decided to stand in solidarity with Native Americans, Pilgrims, and Turkeys by wearing something from each “culture” at Thanksgiving. A lot of voodoo there for sure…
