There are some of Kootchman’s statements I agree with, like how ridiculous and inefficient unions are. Do I think the government should be in all aspects of capitalism? No, but since companies pay for politicians, you’d have to remove all lobbying, no politician or their immediate family would be able to hold stock in any company, etc… that way they would not have personal gain from funding these types of things.
In the end, the idea of capitalism only works so much. Greed is a big player and those with money rule the world/governments. There needs to be checks and balances to the system, currently that’s gotten thrown out. Haliburton anyone?
