All are welcome on Thanksgiving Day – Thursday, Nov. 27th from 12 pm-3 pm – for this year’s annual Free Community Thanksgiving Meal! The delicious meal, created by Tuxedos & Tennis Shoes Catering Sous Chef Zach Mosely, will include a traditional turkey dinner and all the trimmings, with desserts donated by the community. No need to RSVP, just show up at Hall at Fauntleroy (9131 California Ave SW) on Thanksgiving Day between 12-3pm.
This event happens with the help of many wonderful volunteers, and we are blessed that all volunteer spots are just about filled. Here is the link for more information and to see where help is still needed
Gently used warm clothing, new blankets and socks, and dessert donations can be dropped off at our SODO office at 4105 Airport Way S, 98108 on Wednesday, November 26th from 10 AM to 3 PM or can be dropped off at The Hall at Fauntleroy on Thanksgiving Day from 10 AM to 1 PM.

be hosting a FREE Community
Thanksgiving Dinner on
Thursday November 27, 2025 from 2p-(update) 5p. This event is open to all Members of the Aerie and Auxiliary and most importantly, the entire West Seattle Community should you be hungry, need companionship, or just need a space to be safe and warm that day. We will have turkey with all the trimmings, as well as desserts. Donations are GREATLY APPRECIATED. Remember this is free and speaks to our motto of “People Helping People”.
As most of West Seattle has gotten to know, every year the folks at the Admiral Pub (Billy Conwell and Alex Garcia) provide a complimentary Friendsgiving spread to give back to our community, and to give those without traditional family to celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday with, a warm, inviting space. It is wildly popular with our neighbors and an important tradition.
The Admiral Pub’s doors open at 2pm on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 27th, 2025, and the annual Friendsgiving Feast starts around 6 pm-ish. The menu consists of Turkey, Ham, Mashed Potatoes, Gravy, and more standard Thanksgiving dinner fare. Dinner is offered free to all, but donations (all which go directly to the cooks who volunteer, prep and cook the food over 3 days), is very welcome.
Well, if that wasn’t already a tremendous free way to commune on Thanksgiving, this year it gets even better, as Reis & Cates (the jazz duet made up of West Seattleites Rachael Reis and Jay Cates), will be performing a free Friendsgiving Concert. Music begins at 9pm. Joined by other local, music-friends, and promising a “big Jay Cates reveal” at the event, Thanksgiving is going to give West Seattle even more to be grateful for.
