West Seattle’s Silent Book Club meets the first Thursday of each month at local West Seattle spots. The agenda: bring your own book, read for an hour, and chat (if you want) with fellow book lovers. Bring a book and a friend for the ideal introvert happy hour.

I hope you all won’t mind if I introduce myself. My name is Allan Batchelder, and I’m a West Seattle author. My latest novel is classified as historical fiction/horror and shows us what Shakespeare’s life might have been like had he sailed for the New World and settled in Virginia.
