West Seattle Author Amal Sedky Winter will be reading from her novel “Escape to Aswan” on 9/13 5:30-7:30 PM at the West Seattle Library.

Amal Sedky Winter is an Egyptian American woman with a foot in both worlds. Her debut novel is a thrilling action-filled adventure novel set in today’s Egypt with authentic and compelling characters, the complexity of Cairo and the simplicity of the desert.
