Stylish and Sustainable: Mending Workshop

Give your clothes a second life! Join The Center’s Thrift Store Manager, Yoni Marker, for a 1-hour mending workshop and learn simple, practical techniques to fix everyday wear and tear. Perfect for complete beginners, this hands-on session will guide you through basics like sewing on buttons, repairing small tears and patching holes—all in a relaxed and friendly environment. Bring 1-2 items to work on (clothing or textiles). All other tools and materials will be provided. $5 for non-members, free for members. RSVP required at the front desk: 206-932-4044
