Connie and Sharon met working at the nursery years ago, and became fast friends. They team up every year at harvest time to make pickles, preserves, and more.
In this class, they will cover various types of preservation, including dehydrating, freezing, pickling and canning. The Sisters will discuss the equipment you will need, much of which you probably already have in your kitchen. They will also cover other techniques the require specifically designed equipment.
To sweeten the deal, the Sisters will pass out samples of their homemade jam, served on pieces of fresh baguette.
