The Southwest Library dropoff day in West Seattle was successful enough that PCs for People want to invite you to this one in Burien:

Wednesday, August 26th (2:30 pm – 6:30 pm) there will be an e-waste recycling drive at the Burien Library in partnership with the nonprofit PCs for People! We are happy to take those old electronics that are sitting in your closet off of your hands and use them for good and at the very least make sure they don’t end up in the landfill! We are based in Seattle but are trying to increase our reach throughout the whole state. We provide free e-waste recycling which features data destruction of all items that are donated.

We will be accepting a wide range of electronic items including:

– Desktop and laptop computers

– Phones

– TVs and monitors

– Computer accessories like keyboards, mice, or speakers

– Printers

– Hard drives and other computer parts

– Power cords and cables

– Servers and networking equipment
