Join West Seattle author/illustrator Lori Kothe to celebrate her new picture book Birds Near My Home in the City by the Sea and enjoy kid-friendly art activities, bird trivia, and storytelling in the cozy setting of C & P Coffee in West Seattle. The book aims to raise awareness of our feathered neighbors and inspire ways to protect urban nature and their sounds we love.

This event will bring families, friends, and neighbors together to make bird-themed suncatchers on Daylight Savings Day and learn more about 9 wild urban birds who call Seattle home. Free event open to the public. No registration required, but RSVP is appreciated as supplies and space are limited.
