Crash damages Jefferson Square business

If you happen to see this damage at Jefferson Square – no, it was NOT a crash-and-grab burglary; this was a crash that happened this past hour, blamed on driver error – accelerator pressed instead of brakes, we were told at the scene. The damaged business is the former UPS Store (still operating, under a different name). No injuries reported.

This same thing happened a few years back over near where the AT&t store used to be didn’t it?

Must’ve been a Sound Transit employee trying to bring the wrecking ball early, lol. Anything to show the omnipotent agency’s love for West Seattle and its businesses!

Does anyone know if the UPS store is still operational there?  I’ve been driving all the way to Staples in Burien to do my Amazon returns for free.  Last time I was there they had a sign on the door apologizing, but that they were closing and I haven’t been back since.

As I wrote, they are operating under a different name. We’re going to talk to them at another time (wasn’t quite the right time when they were dealing with this just having happened) about their new incarnation – however, my partner did mention that they are NOT doing the Amazon thing.

Whole Foods does Amazon returns though. It’s easy at the customer service counter.

Doesn’t Whole Foods accept Amazon returns? I’ve also had success at local mail shops.
