On our way back from breaking news in The Junction, we passed through Jefferson Square and discovered the See’s Candies store (previously mentioned here) is now open – this was the first day. Here are the posted hours through Christmas:
As you can see, it’s a bare-bones setup – they’re not finished painting – and while the person on duty (the manager wasn’t in) couldn’t tell us whether it’s a pop-up, the See’s website labels it a “seasonal shop.”
Yeesssss I love See’s. We are starting to get the good stuff here in good ol WS.
Hi WSB, thanks for this great update. Question since I don’t see in the pic. Is it only their pre-boxed/packaged stuff, or is there the usual glass case where you can pick and choose what/how many you want? Either way I’ll be stopping by. Grew up with my mom taking us to See’s now and then as a treat, absolutely love them and couldn’t be happier that they are here, even if just for the season.
My photographer only recalls pre-packaged items, though given the work that was still unfinished, can’t say for sure if that’s the final configuration.
I can confirm pre-packed stuff only and only open through Christmas as a WS trial. Got my suckers. 😬
It is a seasonal pop up. They open these in vacant store fronts before Christmas and only sell pre-packaged items. They close again after the holidays. It is the exact same temp layout of their other seasonal pop ups.

They were SO friendly! Suggested I wait to get my Christmas boxes closer to Christmas so they are guaranteed fresh and then loaded me up with samples. Can’t wait to go back and do all the shopping.
Great! When I first read about this, I thought it was too specialized of a business to last for long, but having it as a “pop-up” store is a great idea. I’ll definitely check them out before they’re gone.
