Gwendolyn, who also goes by “Nadine,” is “87 years old, 5’3″, 160 lbs. Has dementia. Last seen around 5:30 pm in the 9800 block of California Ave SW today. Wearing a white shirt, black pants and clogs. Please call 911 if located.”
I am confused, one tweet has gone out about Gwendolyn but no silver alert, search info or updates? Should we be out looking for this woman, I am really concerned about the lack of information surrounding this missing person’s case.
She has not been found. Please look for her. Search your property. Look in any shed structures, out buildings and play structures. She has dementia and could have easily wondered into a structure & not been able to get back out again. She is unable to ask for help. I’m going to message the blog and ask them to update the story. Thank you for asking & for hopefully helping to find her.
Hello Pam, I went out this morning and came across a search party that was getting ready to head out, about 3 minutes after I got there, one of the people said their neighbor had found her. My heart is happy today!
I spent several hours looking for Nadine last night. If you live in the Arbor Heights, Fauntleroy or surrounding areas please please walk your property and look for her. Nadine has dementia and is easily confused. She could have fallen in your yard and is unable to get help. If you think you have seen her please call 911 and let them know.
My kids and I were out for a walk and happened to be passing her residence when the police first arrived. We also spent several hours looking for her last night. The search last night was not organized and many neighbors were independently searching (I kept passing the same cars). If she is still missing it seems we should get organized to make sure we can more efficiently search.I am considering hiking though Fauntleroy Park to search between work meetings today. I am still concerned for her. If anyone has updates on her status or on an organized search plan please post.

Thank god after reading that article I couldn’t quit thinking about her and hoping she was found safe
I hope that we can find out where and how she was found. I know I looked in my yard and around last night and this morning too. I didn’t see or hear anything until late last night. They should have let neighbors know so we could have searched more last night.But, I’m so glad that She has been found!
