You’ve probably already heard it’s going to be very warm this weekend – but you should also know that the National Weather Service says it could get very *hot*. It’s issued a “special weather statement” warning that the hottest temperatures of the year are possible this weekend, maybe into the mid-90s.
…of the year so far, for anyone else like me, naively hoping this would somehow guarantee a pleasant summer.
Take heart, Matt … co-publisher Patrick Sand was at Cliff Mass’s presentation at the Rotary breakfast recently and says the noted weather analyst did NOT think this summer will be as hot/dry as last. Having done my time in Las Vegas (8+ mostly miserable years), I hope his assessment is accurate … TR
