The 6th Annual West Seattle Bee Festival is Saturday, May 19th!

Please join us for this year’s West Seattle Bee Festival on Saturday, May 19th, from 10 AM to 2 PM. This free neighborhood festival takes place at High Point Commons Park, in the West Seattle Bee Garden, and inside Neighborhood House (6400 Sylvan Way SW).

Would you like to BEE in a Kids Costume Parade? Show up at 10 AM for face-painting and parade-prep! The parade starts at 11 AM, and is only one of the many fun activities for kids (and the young-at-heart).

Our Vendor Fair, from 11 AM to 2 PM, showcases businesses, community groups and organizations who focus on environmental sustainability, provide resources to our community, or who help support bees.

Don’t miss the Hive Demo at noon! Learn more about bees and other pollinators. Find out how you can help bees survive and thrive. Puget Sound Beekeepers will have honey available to taste or purchase.

Woodland Park Zoo will bring their Up CLOSE live animal program, “Pollinators: Little Animals, Big Job” to the festival. Pop-up Sewing and other art and science activities will also be back.

We’ll also have great music and wonderful food!

Show up before the festival starts for the Honey Run – this fun, informal run-walk-jog starts at 9:30 AM!

We hope you can BEE there! Watch the festival page on West Seattle Bee Garden website for updates and a more detailed schedule as the day gets closer!
