West Seattle, Washington
21 Saturday
Found this cat at our doorstep in WS. Is now at WS Animal Hospital and will eventually transfer to Seattle Animal Shelter.
This is our cat!Where is she now? She is old and has cancer. We would love to bring her home.I have called WS Animal Hospital and left a message with answering service and they contacted Dr. Johnson. Amazingly our cat Kiwi has received services at his clinic over the years. Dr Johnson told answering service he’s not sure if the cat is still at the clinic overnight. He suggested we call in his clinic in the morning. We are concerned our cat was transferred to the Seattle Animal Shelter and will be put down before we can rescue her. its late tonight. and we are doing everything we can do to bring our kitty home. We have been looking for her for hours. Thank you to the kind and compassionate person who took her to the clinic. Juanita Beale206-371=1151
Send them a email and leave a message with animal control vs shelter, listen for the prompts for animal control I forget which one it is.
Call him now.. Amazing! Jennifer.. Unbelievable! I am so happy for you to reunite Juanita,
There’s a mandatory stray hold at the Seattle Animal shelter (maybe 5 days?) so your cat will not be put down. Also the Seattle Animal Shelter is amazing, and doesn’t put animals to sleep unless they are truly suffering/dying. They have a great Fospice program where abandoned/stray cats who are too old/sick to be adopted go into foster care to live out their days instead of being put to sleep before there time. Our animal shelter is one of the best things about our city, IMO. So glad you found your cat!
Did you get your sweet Kiwi back? :) Would love to hear a happy ending to this post.
Saturday AM; Kiwi is listed at the Seattle Animal Shelter as found. Hope you get her home soon.
Kiwi is melting my heart.Did Kiwi get back to her owner?❤️❤️❤️
