This coming Sunday,Oct. 12th at West Seattle Bowl from 3:00pm to 6:00pm. Come drink beer, eat bad chinese, and throw some heavy rolling objects at helpless pins. Hang with your on-line friends and foes.

I’m not going to be able to bowl after all… My right shoulder is acting up and I’m thinking that bowling is not the best idea for it right now.

Otherwise I always assume that Forum meetups are intended for Forum frequenters only and that you’ll let me know if you want extra publicity … I heard from somebody about the knitting meetups last week and asked for a knitting photo to go with the pitch but haven’t heard anything more so I haven’t plugged that but would be happy to do so as well – TR

AimParticipantThis is VERRRY tentative due to current health stuff (click my name to see the details on my blog if you care to) but I’d love to drag soclwrkrnmotn and myself out that day. I suspect after a week of forced-rest on the couch, I could definitely use some social interaction. I don’t bowl, and soc tends to “clear the aisle” behind him by lettting go on the backswing, but we’ll try to be there at least for the company.
TR, I say put it up on the main page. Looks like due to a few emergencies some folks have had to give up their reserved lanes.

JenVMemberyes, yes and yes! I reserved two lanes on the off chance someone couldn’t make a reservation, and there are quite a few other lanes up for grabs- JoB and Ellenater I think have lanes open for you to pick up from them….check around post 89-90 or so for details.
