    Dang!

Duckitude, I was by there just yesterday checking out the Easter Duckies!

I looked for signage, indicating what to push, or touch, or whatever, but didn’t see any. And I don’t just like to mess with stuff unless “invited”.

Maybe if we luck out, and the weather doesn’t start turning sour again, as they seem to be predicting, I’ll stop back by in a few days.

Hi Mike! If you stopped by before 10 am or after about 7:30 pm, you may not have seen the signs that say, “touch here to hear the rabbits sing, or “touch here to hear the duck sing” — coz, for the sake of my close neighbors’ sanity, I muzzle the music early and late by putting an easter egg over the switches.

    Don’t want to be a noisy neighbor…

    Check out

for a look at one of the Main Stage Acts (Quackwabbit!) that you missed. Now you can view anytime you want! Quacktastic, eh?

Ah, that explains it! I was there probably around 9:40-ish!

Okay – no-go on the “plus size” easter rabbit or other egg-bearing creature costume. I probably would’ve been the only one at Big Al’s dressed up for easter anyway.

    At least m0Dz gave y’all a viable WSB-sanctioned alternative!

I have been searching for somewhere to get pics with the easter bunny also. Here is what I have found

    fhttp://www.b-townblog.com/2009/03/27/annual-bunny-breakfast-egg-hunt-is-sat-april-11th/or the Burien area.

There are reportedly bunny opportunities in a 9 am Saturday egg hunt here

    (Life Care, 47th and Admiral)

give ’em a call. There are SO many events in West Seattle Saturday morning, I am SURE more of them have bunnies than just the one I mentioned earlier in this thread … next year I will have a separate bunny category for events, duly noting the interest!

And for anyone new to the area, the Thriftway egg hunt at 9 am is a particularly huge event.

This post has one of the exterior pics we took last year (get there early!!!) and a link to Thriftway’s own interior pix:

In the past Charlestown Cafe has had a bunny visiting the children eating at the cafe. Might call to see if they are doing that this year.
