I was at Boren school, and noticed whole coffee beans on the field. There was a large open commercial size bag (maybe 25+ lbs) against the fence that was half full and beans in large amounts around the field. I know people bring their pets up there and coffee can be very toxic if ingested by dogs (and cats). It can cause GI upset, central nervous system and cardiac abnormalities including vomiting, diarrhea, hyperactivity, ataxia, muscle tremors, tachycardia, cardiac arrhythmias, seizures, coma, and death.

I had to send a warning since I’m in school to be a vet tech and don’t want anyone to lose a beloved pet!

I thought school play fields had signs that said “no dogs” (or pot-bellied pigs :)

Anybody who finds it okay to poison animals over minor frustrations needs to have their heads examined. Thanks for the heads-up. Was this reported to the school and police?
