Hi,
I need to take another trip to Goodwill, and was wondering if anyone has recent experience with the drive-up donation queue at their Burien location. The website still has the rather daunting warning that wait times might be an hour or more.
Has anyone donated recently? I’m curious how long the lines are and if there are better days/times to go there.
Just down the road on 1ST Ave is St Vincent We Paul. They also are a non profit which Value Village is not. They do lots of good things for people and families in need.
These facilities are doing you a favor by taking your unwanted items so if the lines are long or take too long for you, you might try giving yourself more time in case they are backed up and busy.
We’ve gone to the Burien Goodwill numerous times and have had to wait in line for a few minutes but are very grateful they took what we no longer needed.
Julie: it’s definitely a mutually beneficial relationship, and I am indeed quite grateful that Goodwill exists. But surely you can see it’s more convenient (for them as well as for me!) to find times when they’re not as jammed.
