Anyone care to take a stab at explaining what the heck was going on this morning getting out of West Seattle?

What are you talking about? The ride in was perfect! Only took me 20 minutes to ride into work today and the sunrise was AWESOME

I think it was the SUN! Once I got past the top of the bridge things sped up.

Ditto Velo_nut! It was chilly when I started out but it was clear and beautiful! No traffic issues for me either. 30 minutes in. I even beat the ferry which was excellent. Downtown was fairly quiet this morning.

I left by 5:30 am and there was no traffic at that hour :) I agree, I bet it was the sun. All cars come with handy sun visors, people should really use them some time.
