I saw a couple toy drives on the Holiday tab, but nothing specific to the Junction. Headed there for Santa photos at 1 and have a few new, unwrapped toys to donate. Would love for them to stay fairly local, but not necessary at this late stage. Recs? I saw that Treehouse is still taking toys over in south Seattle. I also saw that last year some Junction business (maybe Twilight) was hosting a toy drive for them. Anything similar going on this year? I’m surprised there don’t seem to be more toy drives, but I haven’t really been out doing a lot of shopping to know if there are trees/bins set up in shops. Thanks for any tips!

Husky Deli may still have the bin for kids in South Park. – TR

Thanks, TR! Just called and they do still have it going in case others are interested.

Capers has a Giving Tree set up for a women’s shelter in WS. I had some gifts already purchased and they said it was fine to leave them. But they do have tags hanging on the tree that you can take and purchase the requested gift. Didn’t see this one on the WSB Holiday tab.

Also saw that Sugar Rush has a bin for WestSide Baby at their door. Another drop-off point for those in the Junction.

Hope this helps those who have gifts to give those in need. Happy Holidays all!

I believe the West Seattle YMCA still has a giving tree up in their lobby.
