With a heavy heart it is time for me to close my doors and retire. I have had a home childcare business in West Seattle for almost 30 years. I have loved working with an unknown number of children. It was a great way for me to be a stay at home mom, and help others that needed to or wanted to go back to work. I was born and raised in West Seattle. It has been the best place for me to have a business, and to raise my children.

Thank you West Seattle, it’s been AWESOME!

pattilea, congratulations on what sounds like a well-earned retirement.

I’ve never had kids, but appreciate folks that work toward being a positive influence on children.

Having had your childcare business for the better part of three decades tells me that you must have been a positive influence on many young lives, and we are all better for it.

Now, sit back, relax and spoil yourself, and enjoy some cilantro! ;-)
