WSBKeymasterRobin at Seal Sitters flagged us to it a couple days ago and it’s been such a busy weekend we just got it into a roundup. And when I got a chance to read the fine print in the Blubberblog item, it turns out the surfboard owner later consulted with Alki’s own Guy Smith (whose platform has been featured often on WSB) for something more robust.

DBPMemberIf you teach seals to surf, you are giving them an unfair evolutionary advantage over salmon and other animals that can’t surf.

As you can see, I’m not in the business of writing parables…
So, was anyone else yelling at their computer while watching this? “C’mon little buddy! You can do it! Go, go, go! Stay on! Stay on! Awwwww…”

DBPMemberSeals that can stay on the surfboard will impress females and will be able to mate.
Seals that cannot stay on the surfboard will have sand kicked in their faces.
