We just discovered a nasty moth situation in our closet and my husband’s wool suits (rarely worn, but nice) have several small holes in them. Does anyone have any recommendations for a tailor or alterations place that can reweave a wool suit? Also, any non-toxic ways to keep the moths out of our closet for good? Thanks.

Not in West Seattle but Pacific Alternations near Bellevue Square does an excellent job!

My husband caught his suit coat on a hotel room door latch and torn the arm and another time got a cigarette burn in a dress shirt and you can’t tell there was ever any damage to either one.

Pacific Alterations may be the only resource for actual reweaving. I looked around several years ago and he, (Quinn, I think) was the only person I could find doing that kind of work versus patching. He did an excellent job on a tux. You may experience a lead time issue, so depending on your needs, it would be good to look into it sooner rather than later.
