    Gee, we just donated ours to the Blue Truck in the Junction. I would have loved to have given it to a neighbor instead.

    When you say “without speakers”, do you mean like a Sony Discman? They range in price on Amazon from $15 (for knock-offs) to $35.

    If you brought some batteries and a CD to test out, you could probably pick up a functioning CD player at goodwill for less than $5. I always check out the electronics section for cameras, and there are tons of CD players available.
