hollyplaceParticipantRave to WS Thriftway for returning my purse which I accidently left in the cart this evening. Ryan was so great when I called frantically looking for it. I had unloaded my groceries and took the cart back into the store with my toddler and had my handsful and didn’t notice I had left it until I got home. What a relief! Thanks a million!

celeste17ParticipantEI have done the same thing at the same store. They found it right away and it was returned to me in tact.
During the snow storm in December we were at Safeway and found a wallet we were looking for the manager when we jeard a page for the manager. We thought it might be about the wallet so we went to the front and the lady was asking about her wallet. So we returned it.

hollyplaceParticipantThat is funny, I was just telling my friend that I had returned probably around 15 wallets or purses in my life and not once had I ever had one returned to me when I had lost one. I was just saying that I should have a lot of good “lost item” karma built up.

carrieannMemberSo glad you got yours back! I’ve left my dayplanner/wallet in grocery carts and on grocery store counters more times than I care to recount. (A number of times it was because I had one or both kids with me and am more focused on them being safe and sound vs keeping an eye on my other “property”.) Thankfully, each time, it had been turned in to a store’s customer service department or was still lodged in the cart when I returned, with nothing missing. I definitely remember that fact each time I find something, and do what I can to help locate its rightful owner.
