A heap of us met up at The Bridge on 35th on Sunday evening. VERY impressed. The interior is clean, warm and simple with easy space for groups to pull together; our waitress was quick, kind, extremely well-organized and fun (and gorgeous).

The food was very good – not a complaint beyond personal preferences: bacon-wrapped steak sliders are deliciously savory, bacon-wrapped dates are VERY sweet. Chips, fish, and drinks were professionally prepared and perfectly served.

I was really impressed, too, that for the non-drinker(s) in the group, staff took time to create a custom drink so something special was presented. Oh, then they brought out some creme brulee…

Just the right balance of casual and cuisine.

It shouldn’t be a surprise that the owner is a seasoned veteran of the industry as well as most of her employees.

Just tried it myself last week…Very good food, and pretty good happy hour prices. I stuck to wine, since I like wine better than cocktails with food, but there were a ton of specialty cocktails that looked really good.

I adore Rita and Trevor and the atmosphere they have created. The food is amazing and their happy hour is one of the best in the ‘hood. Huzzah and kudo’s to the Bridge!
