We are SO fortunate and smart to be here!!!! I did a Tiger Mountain hike this afternoon. Not even six miles, nor was it in West Seattle. BUT, the views looking west were awesome today and classic PNW fantabulous!
Even so, I think next weekend the colors of the landscapes are going to be friggin’ spectacular!!!! Get outside and enjoy peeps!

ariettaParticipantIf you’re up on the mainland in the area of Green Lake, it’s definitely worth going a bit out of your way to drive around the lake. Even better if it’s around 6 and the sun’s getting low. It made my day today.

JoBParticipantI visited Portland this weekend and was gifted with maple leaves from a tree that I gave to a friend when i had to move to Minnesota.
It’s all growed up now:)
i love the way the color peaks out from greenery here.

TraciMemberThis is not about West Seattle, but…
This last weekend I drove over Steven’s Pass, stayed in Leavenworth, and went back through Blewett Pass. If you can take a day to do this, it is SO GORGEOUS right now. Bright golden yellow leaves, then bright golden pine needles (the Larks have changed). Ah I’m getting all starry eyed just thinking about it :)
Back to West Seattle, the fall weather is so refreshing and comforting! The spiced cider that I bought from the farmer’s market makes it even better.
